Toodaloo Potty Perfume Vs. Poo Pourri

Poo Pourri VS Toodaloo Potty Perfume

tohdaloo potty perfume vs poo-pourri

Let’s be honest here. We all know someone who can clear an entire house out by going to the bathroom there. Vent fans and scented candles are no matche for this kind of stench.

And sometimes we’ve all been that person. There is pretty much nothing more humiliating than going to take a poo and realizing that everyone can smell it into the next county over. It doesn’t matter how funny or charming you are; if your aroma wafts through the whole house or office, nobody’s going to like you for long.

Fortunately, we have poop spray to save our butts (literally)! You’ve probably seen the poo pourri spray commercial. A glamorous lady sits on a toilet explaining her secret to making people think she doesn’t do the nasty when she goes to the bathroom. And if you’re like most of us, you thought it was too good to be true until you gave it a try and discovered that, in fact, you really could completely hide the evidence of last night’s ill-advised Chinese buffet.

But how do you know what the best brand is to buy? After all, when it comes to saving your reputation and your delicate sinus passages, you don’t want to be using some low-quality stuff that won’t cover your stuff.

Breaking it Down: Toodaloo Potty Perfume vs. Poo Pourri

Two of the big names in poop smell spray nowadays are Toodaloo and Poo Pourri. If you’re wondering whether to buy Tooddaloo toilet poop spray or (Poo Pourri poop be gone spray), read on for the thorough comparison.

The Ingredients

Poo Pourri is made from their own patent pending blend(s) of essential oils diluted in water. That’s it. It’s pure, it’s eco-friendly, it’s natural, and it doesn’t have any harsh chemicals to hurt your sensitive nose.

Toodaloo is made with their own patent pending blend(s) of essential oils diluted in water, plus an additional odor reducer. Their ingredients are also safe to use, biodegradable, and safe to use in septic tanks.

We’re not quite sure what the additional odor reducer is, but anything that reduces toilet stink is ok in our books. On the other hand, we’ve also never had a problem with Poo Pourri failing to completely take care of all odors, so we’re also not quite sure why an extra ingredient is necessary.

The Packaging

Poo Pourri has whimsical, beautiful designs on their bottles. They are pretty enough to display on the back of the toilet seat so your guests can see it and make use of it.

Toodaloo has kind of more boring packaging. It looks a bit more industrial. The pictures are kind of cute, overall it’s not ugly, and you could put it on the back of your toilet seat, but it doesn’t add to the décor the way Poo Pourri’s bottles do.

If we were choosing based purely on the way they look, we’d choose Poo Pourri. But then, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The Way it Works

The real contest comes down to the way they work. When it comes time to lay a stinker in your toilet bowl, which one is going to have your back? Which poop away spray is going to be strong enough to withstand the foulness pouring out of your bowels?

So we tried them both.

The Winner

And the verdict is …

(Drumroll)

They’re both amazing. Seriously. There’s hardly even a difference, and we tried to find one. The scents are different, of course, because they are using different blends of essential oils. But then again, both companies offer a variety of different scents, so you have your choice anyway.

So what’s the deal? Why is there so little difference between these two brands of no smell poop spray?

Simplicity

The answer is simplicity. Poop odor spray is a really simple product that works on a really simple concept: that oil floats on water, and that essential oils smell good.

DIY Poo Spray

This is why DIY poop spray is so great. You can make the same thing that you buy poo pourri in the store for ten times the price, just by mixing some essential oils of your choice with water and putting it in a spray bottle. You should have somewhere between 20 and 50 drops of essential oil total in a small spray bottle for effective coverage that isn’t so strong that it will blow your socks off.

So the choice is up to you, whether to use Poo Pourri or Toodaloo or just to make your own. As long as you’re covering up your poo stench, you’ll be happy – and so will your family, your friends, your coworkers, your neighbors, and the innocent person who comes to check your electricity meter.
